Client Stories

Client: UCEM

"Kate’s presentation was excellent and raised some very real challenges around SIL and S106. I grapple with these on a daily basis. I really enjoyed the links Kate made around health and wellbeing, connecting with nature, and the view from the eyes of a 3-year-old around what the built environment feels like."

Year: 2024

"I work closely with the planning team and Council, and I feel Kate’s reflections around how we use data to shape what the built environment needs to be for communities will really help inform future discussions I have with the Council."

Industry: Education

"I’m also involved with a School Streets project with the council to support decarbonising the school run, and the story Kate shared from the Doctor at Great Ormond Street really got me thinking about how we use the data from the project to create safer school runs, how the outputs from the project can be used to drive real change."

Stakeholder engagement

Our ability to be deeply empathic with learners is what makes us unique.

Year:

“I think one of the most brilliant things about how you work is your ability to see and name things for what they are and cut through some of the nonsense.  At the same time you create and hold space for other people so that they feel seen and heard and can start to work things out.”

Industry: Commercial Workplace

“Every time I talk to you you’ve got a framework or reference in your back pocket and that conveys a sense of you being very informed and rigorous, and you combine that with being deeply kind.  It’s a set of skills I greatly admire and I feel very fortunate to work with you.”

Participants and sensitive information

Working with participants and asking sensitive information was a part of our study, protecting their privacy and working with data specialists imperative.  This project was able to highlight the link between mental health and financial wellbeing for the participants in this study.

Year:

2022

Asking challenging questions of an industry while protecting individuals is particularly important; sensitive information must be gathered with empathy and compassion.

Industry:
