We understand how homes are used from the occupier perspective

Post occupancy evaluation in a social value housing project revealed valuable insights by focusing on qualitative interviews rather than numerical analysis. This approach allowed the occupiers, host land occupiers, and design team to share their experiences, leading to meaningful narratives and practical solutions. On a practical level we were able to unpack all manner of actionable practical steps. A few were: to help them with air source heat pump operation, external landscaping considerations and nighttime security aspects. The evaluation provided actionable steps for future projects, highlighting the importance of listening and third-party perspectives in shaping outcomes and deriving lessons.
